OpenFrameworks Developer Meeting 2011

16 January 2011 / event, external, studio

Last week, the STUDIO for Creative Inquiry at CMU proudly hosted the first international openFrameworks developer meeting — in which the lead creators of OpenFrameworks (an open-source, cross-platform, cross-compiler toolkit for creative coding in C++) encamped at the STUDIO to push forth version 0.70 of this powerful and widely-used library. Gathered together from five countries, the OF team gave a series of short artist/developer presentations, videos of which are now coming online at the STUDIO’s Vimeo channel.

Left to right: Jonathan Brodsky (@jonbro), Zach Gage (@helvetica), Diederick Huijbers (@roxlu), Memo Akten (@memotv), Golan Levin (@golan), Kyle McDonald (@kcimc), Damian Stewart (@damiannz), Keith Pasko (@playwithoutacts), Zachary Lieberman (@zachlieberman), Theodore Watson (@theowatson), Arturo Castro, Dan Wilcox (@danomatika). Present but not shown: Todd Vanderlin (@vanderlin), Daito Manabe (@daitomanabe), and Anton Marini (@_vade).
